Not personally, and that is why I think we are losing this war, because no body is suffering it except a very few who are really paying the price. A very very close friend of mine has a heart problem, she has been in bed for one month now, and is waiting for a transplant. Her husband is in the military, and is being deployed tomorrow for the third time into Fallujah. I think it is too much for just one family... and the rest of us are not even paying more taxes, we are just letting a deficit grow and grow so our children and grandchildren will never forget what this generation couldn't pay for to defend our country and freedom from fear.
After 9/11 America was being supported and loved, now, with all the questionable decisions and actions, America is further divided, and the international credibility is dwindling. So yes, our lifes have changed in the real sense, not on the superficial level. Now policies are being drawn based on fear, not on the freedom from fear.

No, my life hasn't really changed..........I am more aware of my surroundings now and I pay close attention to strange people doing goofy stuff...........but other than that I am the same.
