I have being here in Mexico for a long time, im 22 years old, and I only have my old birth cert & my old passport when i was three years old, my other ID´s was stolen. I borned in San Diego California. I went to the Consulate here in mexico and they dont want to renew my passport because I dont have any ID with recent picture. and im planning to mobe back with my aunt there. How can I get back?

are you sure you told the US consulate the whole story ??? and they would NOT help you well in your case drive up to any US check point and attempt to enter the US the Border patrol ICE will do a quick cursory check and you should be on your way home

You have an interesting dilemma! But your birth certificate should be able to help you.

Contact the US Embassy, but make sure you have a copy of the police report filed by the Mexican authorities when you reported your ID stolen!

How long did you wait between the theft and attempting to get your ID replaced via the Consulate?

As an American citizen, if you have not renounced your citizenship, the Embassy is obligated to assist you.

Rule of thumb ... whenever abroad and something goes wrong, contact the American Embassy!

The consulate should be able to assist you with contacting family in the US who can send you whatever is needed.

I'm surprised that the consulate isn't helping you. They are supposed to issue you temporary travel papers so you can get back home. Did you report your missing ID's to the police? IF so, bring the police report with you.
