We need to forgive them for they know not what they do. But, even before that, they need to experience the consequences of their actions and behavior.

Even if I can forgive them I'm only a victim in the broadest sense. Can the true victims forgive them? The ones that are dead, well, they've past beyond it mattering. The ones that remain -- the families, the loved ones, those who lost jobs, those whose health is now imperiled because they were employed to rescue or clean up the mess, and the thousands and hundreds of thousands who have suffered in many ways small and large as a result: forgiveness is between them, God and their attackers. Each person can only look into his or her own heart to see if forgiveness is possible. If so, great. If not, its a burden they will have to carry, not one they created but one they will have to live with.

what's to forgive? They are dead.

Corpses don't care about forgiveness. Besides, only victims can forgive. Everyone else are just bystanders who's judgment mean squat in the grand scheme of things.

Forgive them? Are you insane? Revenge by far a sweeter way. Forgiveness is for quitters. LOL. I have no idea what i'm talking about. Sure, fogive them, release everybody from guantanamo and give them american citizenships, pull out of iraq and afganistan and wait for a couple of years and see what happens.

Did they apologize? Even if you forgive someone, doesn't mean that they are absolved of the consequences
