No, I won't believe anything I am told. And just because someone tells me it's biblical doesn't mean I believe it either. There are many forms of the Bible which twist and distort God's Truth. And yes, I read all the way from beginning to end. Not only do I read, I study it. I study from the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance so that I understand fully the meaning of the scripture that I read. That way, I am not persuaded by other people, what they say, and what they tell me is Bible. I already know for myself.

For the gullable statement..... I am sorry I would rather be considered gullable for believing that I was created by God. I consider it comforting to know that I was created for a plan and purpose and not because I just happened to be. I consider that much better that being considered ridiculous for believing that I can into being because some ooze just happened to form, or because I evolved from a monkey, fish or some other form of animal. That to me alone is insulting.

I havent examine what others have mentioned to you, so im going to easily inform you my opinion. first of all, i'm a Christian, yet i completely see the place your coming from. Christianity is a extensive ingredient, there's a lot to it, yet keep in mind area of the Bible is over 3000 years previous, so its been around for a looonnng time, subsequently, its had an outstanding variety of time to construct up scrutiny. additionally, i think of its the Emperor Constantine that your speaking approximately? He substitute into the single that moved the useful city of the Roman empire from Rome to Byzantine, which he renamed Constantinople... i think of?! yet you will desire to keep in mind each and every faith has extremists. and in christianity's case Constantine substitute into an extremist. He used his faith to learn capability contained in the common Roman way, via tension. So dont be concluding your recommendations on Christianity via it relatively is human beings, yet do it during the notice itself. it relatively is the actuality, it extremely is what Christianity is predicated on. Now i see the place your at a loss for words whilst it is composed of the team spirit of the Bible. In 367AD a team of elders formed the canon of scripture that has substitute into our Bible. the reason of their narrowing of scriptures is that if we proceed to settle for many of different scriptures into our faith then how will all of us be attentive to what's sound reality? Is it better to have a extensive quantity of scripture and the prospect of many blunders and misguiding or is it better to have a smaller, sounder scripture? Martin Luther substitute into contained in the sixteenth century. He observed that the Catholic have been charging money so human beings would have prayers and be pardoned for sin and to even enable its lay human beings "pay" for his or her kinfolk to get to heaven.. it relatively is no longer what the Bible teaches! the Bible teaches that it extremely is via grace via faith that we are saved. If we have confidence then God's grace will provide us a place in heaven.. please enable me be attentive to if i will help in any opposite direction.

Just because we are Christian does not automatically mean that we are stupid too.

You will have stupid people in any walk of life.

And yes, I do read through to the end and didn't dignify the other question with an answer, because it is stupid.

No we do not believe just anything, only what is written in the inspired Word of God, the Bible, because it is as relevant today as it has always been, and God's Word endures forever. God's Word is truth.

Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life.

Christians will believe anything if it comes out of the bible and their "god" tells them so. Oh yes, and if the evangelists on TV that beg for money say so then by gum, it must be true!!!

" you can fool some of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you can't fool all the people all of the time " A. Lincoln. this seems a perfect quote to answer your question here.

would you rather be treated like a liar? Would you rather people think the worst of you? Would you rather people insult you?
Seriously, aren't you just as stubborn in your beliefs? What makes you any different?
