I am flying it today, just like I flew it early in the morning on 9/11, before the planes even hit the towers. It was such a sunny, warm day that day, and I kissed hubby goodbye on his way to work, and he said "I know it's not a holiday, but why don't we put out the flag today? It's such a nice day." Creepy now when you think about it.

I thought the whole wrap yourself in the flag 'cause we got b*tchslapped by some middle eastern religious extremists was how we allowed ourselves to believe the lies that allowed us to mortgage our grand kids future.

The patriotic mindset allowed us to sacrifice the freedoms that the terrorist hated us for. They took away our freedom and gave it to Iran. At gunpoint.

Vote or die, or vote and die. Either way, Katrina was a year ago. Thousands of Americans are still without any insurance payments, the wreckage of their homes are still laying in the streets. 3 billion a month is being wasted on Iran.

I wish the military would make all the people in the USA vote, or die. If we could get them to turn off the TV and get offline (being hypocritical now, I know), put down the cell phone and get involved in your country by participating.......

Never mind, that was a dream 30 or 40 yrs ago.

I am and have every day since 9/11. I just wish I could say I had every day since becoming an adult with my own home (which I am so thankful for). I am almost livid today reading some of the idiotic comments/questions. I am beginning to wonder if the first amendment needs some revision.

It's kinda ridiculous to only fly it today isn't it. Just like how before 9/11 hardly anyone owned one, after it the whole nation had one. Makes no sense.
