You can get a current year credit report at www.annualcreditreport.com
Is there a reason why it must be for that creditor, just call them.

Just call Capitol One. They should still have the old address on file. Surely, they keep records of the accepted applications.
Also, most items on your credit report will disappear, usually after 7 yrs. So, it should still be there for a little while longer.
If you need a free credit report go to: www.annualcreditreport.com. Forget about FreeCreditReport.com. And getting a copy of your own credit report does not lower your credit score; no matter where you get it.

call the credit company, you need your account number. Question, 2000 credit report will still show up on your recent report, get it? What ever you are looking for doesn't go away. Your most recent credit report contains all lines of credit in your history. You COULD go to a freecreditreport.com which I do not recommend, it will take points off your score. Good luck!

Whenever a creditor pulls credit, you are entitled to a free copy of that report if you are denied. However, there are restrictions.

Read the following:

"Under federal law, you’re entitled to a free report if a company takes adverse action against you such as denying your application for credit, insurance, or employment and you ask for your report within 60 days of receiving notice of the action. The notice will give you the name, address, and phone number of the consumer reporting company. You’re also entitled to one free report a year if you’re unemployed and plan to look for a job within 60 days; if you’re on welfare; or if your report is inaccurate because of fraud, including identity theft. Otherwise, a consumer reporting company may charge you up to $9.50 for another copy of your report within a 12-month period."

Please also note that your information from 2000 will show up on a current credit report as well, including when it was opened, the history, and when closed if applicable.
