That's a tough one. It would depend on why I don't approve. If I think it's dangerous to him or myself, I would first try to talk with him, but if I still feel endangered, I would leave.
If it's purely theological, I would pray for him and love him, showing him I still care.

If it's a religion that encourages negativity and hate, then you better pray. Otherwise, just support them and maybe even go to church w/them once in a while. It shows that you care and that you're not narrow minded.
