i did once, i made my sister and cousin come, we only ran away because I wanted to live in a tree house and be the "mum".
We never found a tree house and we set up camp 3 times in different fields, ate fryed raisins cooked on a fire, went to bed for the night 3 times and we were still back home by tea time after deciding we hated raisins.

Yes I ran away to the shed at the end of our garden, because of some perceived slight. I think it all started with me getting a skipping rope as a gift, and not being able to do it first try. I subsequently put the skipping rope in the bin and (obviously) got told off.

I packed my school satchel, with essentials, like an apple, an Enid Blyton book, and my faithful cuddly monkey (who had the entirely original name Monkey!)

I stayed in the shed till tea time, when hunger got the better of me - I should have taken all the chocolate out of the 'treats' drawer instead of the apple, I might have made it a whole day and night in the shed then!

Thankfully I was never motivated enough to run away properly - I dread the day that my daughter decides I have been so hideous that she needs to run away - I don't have a garden shed!!!

I think I try to run away each day. Wishing to tie my worthy possessions to the very top of a stick and walk off - you know? But then again, I have no worthy possessions whereas my only cherished thing is a moment of my life which means the world to me.

However, as a 16-year-old I've still got a lot of responsibilities and I can't let someone down. On the other hand - if I run away I can become someone. Get better education, pursue my career and probably come back after becoming someone. So I'm just bidding my time and waiting for a miracle - one thing for sure, I'm not whining.

Stay safe. - Maryam

Yes i have ran away. I live in Indiana and me and a friend and 2 guys ran away to Florida. It was fun at the time but now I realize that it was the dumbest thing I have ever done. We were sleeping at rest stops on top of tables. We are lucky we didn't end up dead. We stayed gone for 4 1/2 weeks then finally went home.

Yeah! Great question - you brought back funny memories! Once my mum told me and my brother to "get out of her sight" when she was mad at us, so I decided that's exactly what we would do! So I dragged my younger bro (I think I was about 9; he was 7) and we went to my friends house only a few doors down.

It took my mum a surprisingly long time to notice that we weren't there and then she had the milkman and the baker looking for us, but didn't think to check just down the street!

And once when I was 4/5 I ran away to the end of the street!

LOL that's a cute story. I once decided I was going to run away. I packed a bag with everything I thought I would need, and decided that I would wake up and leave in the middle of the night after everyone else was sleeping. I didn't wake up until morning. Oh well, probably for the best.

I ran away once when I was in big trouble at school, I packed everything I needed, bottles of drink, small amount of money, tins of food, I cycled about 8 miles from home in the dead of night, then realized I'd forgotten a tin opener and went back home and couldn't be bothered to leave again. but I learnt a valuable lesson, running away gains you nothing but getting wet and ill

I ran away frequently from the age of 2. I was found sitting under a railway bridge once and brought back by the police. It happened so often, it really got on my mum's nerves!

Yes, when me and my friends were 16, we "ran away" to the campground at the local lake without telling the folks we were going. We didn't think it was a big deal til the cops pulled us over in my buddies car the next day.

Once but I was like five and my mom had sent me to my room. So I climbed out of my window and in to the bushes. Unfortunately that was just about the time I realized I had left my favorite stuffed animal in my room…so I just went around to the front door and rang the bell. Mom thought it was hilarious.
