My dad has been looking for u all his life, and he knows that you were born in cornwall.

Sorry I dont know this person, but the other answers are right, re-word your grammer, as your grandfather wont understand.
Also try emailing the local paper in the area's where you know he lived or worked.
Contact local council's, and friends reunited might be worth having a look, even if your grandfather is not on friends reunited you could post a message for people in his year at school.
Check family's birth cerifcate and death certificate, to get details off address's because most people off your grandfafther age would have grew up in the same town. and it will have his profession/trade on your dads birth certificate, which will help your search.
