SSgt I was referring to two things. The fact that that particular country sits on the fence between two worlds of questionably loyalty to the United States and her allies and the fact that it seems to be completely self contained in terms of information. Phones and internet dont seem to communicate with people here too often. Same with Uzbekistan

There is nothing going on there. I was deployed there back in 04 and if you are going to the desert its one of the safest places.
If you are refering to the Maj that was "kidnapped" I personally think she just got cold feet, ran off and dyed her hair, and then realized it was a stupid idea so she had to come up with a story. This is only my opinion though. I guess we will have to wait till the investigation is over.
Have your ever heard of insurgent groups making americans dye there hair after they have been kidnapped?
