My best friend is a girl, I have known her for 2 years. We never speak on the phone, only text. She had a boyfriend for a bit but they broke up and since they did, she seems to have gotten closer to me. Last night she called me on the phone "just to talk", even though she had nothing to talk about. What does this mean? Some people were saying she likes me, does she? What should I do?

She wanted to hear your voice...simple as that! It's a good sign that she might want you to ask her out. Why not give it a try?

She just needs someone to talk to since her split with her boyfriend. it does not necessarily mean that she is attracted to you as something other than a friend. but then again she may be. Give her alittle time if she is stewing about her ex and then try to work ur way into her "good graces" if that is ur aim. It doesn't sound like you have much to lose.

It means that she wanted a friend to "be there" for her-to empathize with her and all that girly emotional stuff. I wouldn't put too much hope in having a relationship with her. Just be her friend, like the ladies are saying and let chemistry take over in it's own time...if it ever happens. It could, but I wouldn't count on it.

She likes you. Continue the relationship you have and take a leap of faith and ask her to be your girlfriend. I took that leap with my best friend in July and she finally said yes and I love her to death. So just know that its possible and its worth while. She most likely likes you as a friend, where you are now. If you mean is she attracted to you, probably not. She's just seeking comfort in a difficult time.

Sounds like she may be testing the waters to see if you 2 are compatible. Maybe she wants more than texting??

prob just to talk.. When my boyfriend and I argue I use to call one of my male friends up and talk to him but I don't do that anymore cause I found out he wanted more then friendship and was sayin negitive things about my relationship.
