Some units have email accounts to soldier (or had?). Try to find your friends unit by search the web. Miltary sides end with .mil .Or call your friends units pr staff and tell them that you want to get in contact. But do remember that any contact is likely to be censored (for secret info and simular). Johan.

The only way we were able to get information about my brother-in-law when he was overseas was when he himself e-mailed us. Granted, since we are family if he had been injured or killed we would have been told. Your best bet is to get in contact with a family member for updates and/or an e-mail address.

Im not sure of your relationship to the soldier. However, all units have something called an FRG or family readiness group. all you need to know is what unit he is in, and then call the base operator and they can get you in touch with his units frg. and they can assist you in contacting your soldier.

The only way is to write him/her. Their battalion won't tell you anything.
