I had a skull fracture and weeks later, I started hearing a voice in my right ear. Clear as a bell. He told me his full name and when he was killed. Then he would let me see him in mirrors, glass, etc. He talked to me so much and even showed me sites to go on the internet looking up bible stuff (I have never read the Bible). How would I have known to go to that particular site? He knew my entire life history, even things I had completely forgotten. He told me he was killed by a drunk driver. I know exactly what he looks like and the sound of his voice. I asked him if he was an Angel and he said yes. I was in the hospital for a heart attack and I was so thirsty and they wouldn't give me anything to drink. He said open your mouth, I'm going to give you some soda. I actually tasted it just like I was drinking it out of the can. I asked him who killed Jon Benet Ramsey and he gently said, her mother. I asked him when I was going to die and he said he was not allowed to tell me that.
I ended up in a psychiatric hospital for one month, diagnosed with an organic brain injury, acute schizoprenia. I believe I opened up a door of my brain that is usually not open, unless you were born with it open, like psychics, autistic people. I also could have been a bit too close to death without knowing it. I believe that it is like with the blind, how their other senses are heightened? Does that make any sense? Our brains are capable of so much more. Ninety percent is not even tapped into.
I believe spirits speak to those of us who are weakened and/or willing to listen through white noise. Fans, air conditioning ducts, the shower running, etc. I hear choirs of angels singing and I can clearly make out the words. I hear these things mostly when I am going to sleep. Some of the music is just beautiful. Some is spooky. It scared the crap out of me at first, but I have gotten used to it now. I, too, also hear when loved ones and family are arguing. When they fight, I can hear it plain as day. I ask later and they confirm what they were arguing about. Weird, huh?
I also tried acid in my younger days and would hallucinate mostly with things changing color and shape. I only did that a handful of times and hallucinated twice. Too much information? LOL!

Yes, just recently. I was severely injured 2 years ago and had to have 3 surgeries. The last one was in December 2005. Yada, yada, yada, had to take lots of pain pills and I hallucinated a few times. The thing is, I don't remember any of it! The only reason I know I hallucinated was because my wife told me at a later date when I was not taking so much meds.

specific, now no longer intentional, sleep paralysis, I hallucinated a devil-like creature beside the mattress and that the mattress covers have been very heavy and stiff. It was once the main scared I actual have ever been in my life, made worse in the process the very actuality i replaced into thoroughly lucid, i used to be no longer drunk or on drugs, and so on. I knew i used to be hallucinating on the time with the aid of actuality devils do no longer exist in spite of the fact that it was once so truthfully that i could now no longer help reacting as though it have been actual.

I have only had auditory hallucinations. Once when I smoked a lil bit I listened to a conversation between my sister and her friend for like an hour. My sister was sleeping at the time and her friend was not present.

Once, when I was taking Dimetapp. I heard drums, bugles and bagpipes. Odd, but the hallucinations occurred only when I heard the refrigerator or air conditioner or some other "white noise".
(There is a technical term for this, but I dunno what it is.)
Being of Celtic ancestry, I just relaxed and enjoyed the music.
I later met another guy who hallucinated from the same med.
