Community College is very easy! Depends on what background you are coming from though. If school was tough for you before it will probably be tough for you this time around. The biggest thing is that you have to be committed. You will not get detention for "ditching" class, you just fail. The hardest part is actually going when you don't want to and there is no one to make you go.

,I went back to school at 30. I was a mother of 2 but only worked part time. My advice is to start slow. One course per semester. Start with the basic English or Math courses. Even if you don't continue, any amount of education is never a waste. Personally I loved it. I became an 'A' junkie!! Good luck.

I know someone with two kids just like you. she went to community college, then a 4 yr college and now she has just begun working on her masters. she manages to stay on the dean's list.
She has a husband who helps a lot, Her kids, one of whom is sick, are well taken care of.
I believe it is a matter of commitment. If you start something knowing you are going to fail, then chances are you will.
Just keep up with your assignments and you will do fine. You don't need to be on the dean's list, you just have to pass the courses.

You can do it! I went to DeAnza when my daughter was small. It was hard scheduling wise, balancing between working part time, taking classes on campus and "distance learning" but if you are motivated enough, yes you can. My husband actually graduated from SJCC just before our daughter was born, and then transferred to SJSU. I pretty much went to DeAnza from just before I was pregnant until my daughter was 2, then I got a BA from SVC. It won't be easy, but if you are motivated and you have family support - YES YOU CAN!
