It all depends how you drink it. If you have lots of sugar that might not be so good. I enjoy very milky coffee which I have occasionally. Tea I don't think is a real problem unless it is the only liquid you drink. I think the amount of water you drink pretty much cleans out most of the toxins tea and coffee you drink which is probably why you don't have any problems sleeping. Like you say sod it, you are not overdoing it so don't worry. These days you are suppose to worry about everything but life is too short.

The water is cool, tea is good against the big 'c' and other stuff. The coffee could be a little too much though. Not unhealthy per se but maybe worth toning down the coffee a bit.

You need to drink at least one glass of water per cup of coffee. Otherwise you will suffer from low-grade dehydration, which has subtle but devastating effects. Coffee can be dangerous to the mental health of some people. It increases brain activity, which might make up for possible side effects. The intense oils from the coffee bean can be filtered by using a paper filter (unbleached to avoid chlorine). Or keep the oil by using a french press, percolater, or brass reusable filter. For health purposes use organically grown only, it's a better high and less chance headaches. You do not want pesticides in your coffee, they are much worse for you than anything coffee has in it, plus their effects are cumulative. You can contribute to the health of others (workers, animals, the planet) by choosing shade grown coffee (no deforestation). I believe coffee is a medicine, not meant to be abused. A good high, though, makes you think faster, makes you more creative and can totally improve your mood (except maybe irritability).

The BBC recently wrote an article explaining why tea is better for you then water, but as you are drinking enough water and tea to conteract the coffee, I can not see a problem and can not think of any long term damage you could do!

well, you drink a lot of water, so you're probably not dehydrated, but you'll most definitely stain your teeth, and caffeine can cause stomach problems, increased heart rate, and even high blood pressure. Though, you never know, tomorrow some expert may announce that coffee is better than water! I guess if you feel fine, then it's OK. Hey, everyone has their vice! Mine just happens to be nachos and coffee milk :)

If they are proper mugs then you should try and cut down a little. The fact you are drinking alot of water is very good so you're flushing your system out. Just try and cut down a little and maybe substitute 2 cups for camomile tea.

No, it's not healthy. Tea is a diuretic, which causes your body to need more water anyway. So, the extra you are drinking daily is just getting your body closer to a normal level.
