Any day now... we broke up and then got back together and broke up a second time, about 6 months ago. Sometimes I still love him as much as I did when we were first together. I'm not sure we ever get over them completely.

I am still in love for the first time. I am 15. I had a crush on her from the first time I saw her and now, 2 years later, we are best friends, I realised I love her about 6 months back, I hope some day we will be closer.

For me I`m still not over her and it has been 3 months since we broke-up. To tell the truth I think that I will never get over her you truly don`t forget your first love and you don`t realize what you had until you lose it. But to answer your question only time can heal those wounds.

I don't think you ever really get over your first love. I still think about mine from time to time and remember all the good times we had...it was more than 20 years ago. I have moved on in life and loved many times since him, but I still remember him fondly and enjoyed the experiences we had together...even the experience of breaking up.

Oh my, the next day. I cheated on him, alot, and he still wanted to be with me. I guess I was just really tired of him and I really loved him. That was my first and everything, but i got over him relatively quickly for some reason. But now, I cant seem to get over my current ex....imagine that!

Probably 4 months? It hurt like crazy, but I'll tell you what, I was in the best shape of my life because I ran and lifted so much.

And yeah, I still have a soft spot for her. I don't see her anymore, but I still like girls that have her same body type and look.

the one that i was most foolishly in love with (whom i have a history with but we actually never technically dated) took about 4.5 years to get over; cheated with him on two of his girlfriends, had a horrible falling out while living together.. blah blah blah. i was STUPID, but i 'loved' him. now i can finally wake up in the morning and not think about him. THAT's refreshing.

Well....never....you always compare your first love or you ex's to you future boyfriends....ooh chris was such a good cook, ooh mike had such a sexy bum...its just always that all ex's have mistakes. My theory is if you concentrate on the bad rather than the good, you'll be over him quicker for ex. i didnt like his jokes, or omg his hair is so strange....ETC
