i am looking to buy a chinese crested powder puff dog as a puppy, can anyone recommend a good place to get one? i live in the northamptonshire area of uk

Go to the AKC website. Then look under breed, then breeders. AKC recommends breeders...don't buy from a pet store, or a flea market...you don't know what you are getting!

Hiya if you go on the kennel club website they show you a list of all the breeders in the uk with puppies due and you'll be able to see the one closest to you. Good luck

go to petfinders.com....this is a site for rescue groups....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many choices you have !!....i adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!....check it out....try it....do a good deed....adopt a Chinese Crested Powder Puff puppy today !!!....good luck to you, in your search for a Chinese Crested Powder Puff puppy !!!!

the kennel club can advise on breeders but there were some for sale in leicester recently try pet shop websites or leicester mercury website but always visit the breeder and see at least mum and pups together. if not happy with environment or breeder walk away its not worth it

Look for a local breeder, or some not so local, I'm sure there are plenty of breeders in the UK

Why? There are lots of dogs being put to sleep daily in dog pounds, because they don't have a home. While people continue to breed and buy, homeless, but loving dogs will continue to be killed as they have nowhere to go. Go to a rescue, don't buy.
DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE.
