what was your discharge for? what is your RE code? How long ago were you discharged? is the reason why you were discharged no longer valid? Are you willing to cross rate if necessary?

Your question is kind of vague, what did you receive the severance pay for? Were you medically discharged? If you were medically discharged, you will need to complete the MEPS process again, obtain a waiver saying you are now fit for duty and go from there. Best advice I can offer is to talk to a recruiter. Good luck to you.
