I turned it on low. Now I am at work worrying about it because I forgot to check the inside of the chicken for the "insides in a package". Do I need to run home during my luch break to take out the giblet package? It was a pre-merinated chicken, so I didn't rinse it out.

It will be fantastic by the time you get home. Sounds so good , I might have to try that tomorrow. Don't worry about the package.... they are not in pre marinated chickens.

They probably took the giblets out already but i have done the same thing and it was fine. The giblets will cook in their little paper package. I dont eat them anyway and it didnt hurt the rest of the chicken.

the giblets are not the problem. it is the slow cooker. you need the internal temp of the chicken to get above 180 within 3 hours. after it reaches that temp turn the temp down to low and let it cook. try using chicken stock instead of water. it will taste much better.

The insides were probably taken out before it was marinated. Chicken puts out alot of "Juices" so one cup of water is plenty. I actually have a recipe for the crock pot that calls for placing the chicken in the pot, sprinkling with seasoning and cooking. No liquid needed, and there was LOTS of liquid when it was done cooking.

No, it will be fine...
If the giblets are inside, they will simply be cooked in their package.
