Wouldn't you be living off bread and water then? You can't possibly boycott every single one that hire illegals, but do as you wish.

JizzMopper, seems that you'll never eat taco bell again, since there are plenty of legal mexicans and citizens of mexican heritage.

What sense would it make to boycott one bussiness that hires illegals and not the other?

We can boycott those that hire so many it seems they MUST know, and do so through an intermediary so they don't have to check records themselves.
However, while I am boycotting Tyson Foods and Foster Farms it is more from self preservation than political action. I was repulsed by the articles about diseases illegals (only some of course) bring in with them. I assumed that people who worked with food had basic health screening, but I have become convinced otherwise.
Fortunately, there are some markets near me that have their own butchers.

Yes. If I knew for a fact that they hired illegal immigrants I would boycott. First of all, it's illegal and we, as taxpayers, are paying for their homes, their kids and their medical bills. If they want to be US citizens they should do it the right way. Secondly, most companies that hire illegals use & abuse them by paying them substandard pay. They do similar or same jobs as others but don't get equal pay. There is alot of room for companies to take advantage of these people. It's just not right either way.

These illegal immigrants are often poorest of people who out of desperation of poverty seek to make money often to send to their hungry familes. They do the worst jobs that most people wouldn't touch without a big paycheck but the immigrants do it for a pittance with no legal cover. The poorest in the world are often the most trodden on. And the fact that they are illegal means they don't get a lot of aid. It is hard enough when you are not illegal.
I see a lot of these attutitudes:
People are human beings don't get blind with nationality, riches and greed to kick down those who are already low.
People from the third world have nothing and often get cheated and mistreated by their employers. They have very little rights and no ability to defend themselves.
It is inhumane to treat another human badly and look down on him just because of he is from a poor country or he is not of your country. These people are often desperate and will work for little and long hours and do work and hard at it that most people in our society wouldn't stand for yet they do it anyway because even the meagre life they live is better than the life they had in their original country. Often the little money they earn goes to help feed their familes and probably aged parents who are too sick to work. If you are the ones who look down on foreigners then why would God want you in his kingdom also?

yes i would and i do as much as i can. and no, i would not be living on bread and water. This country will be stronger without the illegals. they don't pay taxes and that's killing us. and just as a side note, taco bell is an insult to mexacan food. its the WORST of the fast food chains and should be boycotted just because they serve the lowest possible grade food allowed by law.

If I was sure that a company hired illegals I would definitely boycott that business. I would also let them know that they have lost my business because of that practice.

I'm guessing most who think this do not own a business nor do they work in human resources. Most employers are given false documents upon hire...Blaming businesses is WRONG, expecting businesses to enforce laws that the government won't back you up on is WRONG.
Let's force congress to do their job and write good laws and the executive branch to enforce the laws that are made.

How would one be able to know without demanding documentation of every employee of every business we patronize? It is totally unrealistic to even try.. so no, I would not boycott.

every one that I'm aware of I do boycott, that is why people raise their own veggies and go fishing. don't say the city folks cannot do that, you can grow veggies in planter pots on your window sill if you want.
