i got a razor bump in the genital area a day after shaving what is the best way to treat it, any over the counter medications?i think its due to an ingrown hair

Anything with Aloe Vera will calm it down after a day or two.

If you have a beauty supplier somewhere near by, go there or look online, there is something I use that helps prevent and treat razor burns in bikini area, its awesome its made my a company with a bee as the logo (sorry cant think of the name) but apply it a few days before you want to shave and after, good luck!

Go to walmart and get Bump Stopper (usually by the razors or sometimes in ethnic care products)
Works awesome. You may also need to use a louffa prevent any ingrown hairs.

Yes it is due from an ingrown hair.You can just use 100% tea-tree oil.Just put on it each time you go to the bathroom.I found out that works best then anything I have tried.It should be gone in about 3 to 6 days

Neosporin Ointment works to clear it and if it gets itchy cortaid cream/
