The best way to explain how to be a good person in general..is ALWAYS treat others how YOU want to be treated..period. I know people have said this phrase time and time again but it is so true...

I'd say three things:
1. Never forget what YOUR goals are, with or without the boyfriend
2. Never do something that doesn't feel right
3. Be loving and considerate
Bonus: Don't be blind!!!!!! Be realistic.

There is no RIGHT way. Boyfriend always finds something wrong and they dont really love you until its almost too late. So just be yourself, if its meant to be, itll be.

Pay attention to the needs of your man. Tease him lovingly.
Special gift to him after a few years--share a girl with him. He will enjoy it if you really enjoy her with him.

show him you love him give him hugs and kisses hold his hand and spend time with him tell him you love him. Go with him to a game if he into sports also give him time with his boys.

Don't be clingy, don't try to resolve conflicts with threats. Try to be understanding. Have sex often. Don't try to occupy all his time, his friends will dislike you if you do.
