I know this is discusting... but my puppy keeps going to my cats litter box and eating the cat's poop. The puppy has plenty of food when she does this so I know it's not out of hunger... and I've read a bunch of stuff on the internet about the causes already but they don't give much info on solving the problem.

I need tips on stopping this behavior from people who've delt with the same problem. PS I can't move the litter box out of reach.

I don't know anyone who has cats and dogs who doesn't have this problem, and I don't know anyone who has taught the dog not to eat the cat stool. It just doesn't seem to be something you can break the dog of without using incredibly cruel methods. If you cant' move the litter box, try placing a pet gate across the door to the room where the litter box is. The cats can jump over the gate but the pup can't. Or, get a self-cleaning litter box; the poop will be removed almost immediately so there's no time for the pup to eat it.

Get rid of the cat! They are useless anyway.
