I used to hate running, but now I love it. It's a great way to relieve stress and get fit. The problem I see is that so many runners are too competitive. They place so much emphasis on personal records, etc. Do people run just for the fun of it anymore?

Some people use personal records to keep themselves motivated and running - to the point of injury.

When I run, I run for fun and to lose weight - which makes it more fun (hehe).

I love going out for a slow run on a beautiful day with my mp3 player. Once in a while I'll drive up to an hour just to find somewhere scenic to run.
