Well, this probably wont help but, i stayed on and did A Levels and could have gone to University but at the last minute decided to get a job and am still there 7 years later!

The main point of University now is not for the Degree at the end but for the time that you have while you are there! That is the one thing i regret not having! many of my friends went on to Uni to do degrees and they have all said i made the right choice job wise not going but from the point of view of life experience i missed out!

I would recommend going to university as you don't want to be in a hurry to getting a job and becoming a slave to the wage! the worst thing that can happen is that you go to Uni and don't like it and drop out! but i think if you don't go you will regret it later on! I did anyway!

Hope i helped!

Stay in school. There is no job a drop out can do that a university grad can't but there are plenty of jobs that a univesity grad can do that a dropout can't. Believe me, there is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I had stayed in school and gotten a good job instead of the string of low-paying go nowhere jobs I've had. Believe me, no matter how hard it seems now, you'll be glad you stayed in school when it's over. If you drop out, you will regret every single day for as long as you live and that my friend is no way to live.

There is an old saying, "life is hard, it's even harder when you're stupid." There are allot of low paying, dead end jobs if you don't have that "sheepskin" (diploma). Trust me, I don't have a degree, an have a crap job, and your career opportunities go from poor to pitiful really quick. Not that your not a wizard without a degree, but you will end up driving a nicer car, having a nicer hovel to live in, etc. Yeah allot of people made it big without a education, one in a million. You got your whole life to "get a job," hang in there, tough it out. Incidentally, you might feel lost, and confused, but you are not alone. Best of luck. Nick

Hang on in there - this is your only chance to get a'levels as your qualifications. Whats another few months compared to the rest of your life?

Keep working away and you're job prospects will be a lot better with more qualifications - this world is becoming extremely competitive these days !!

Good luck

stay in school- or go into the military (which generally requires school). You will regret it if you dont. I have yet to speak to a person that has dropped out that didnt regret it for some reason or another. There is no reason to be in a hurry to set off - "into life" you will be there soon enough!

Hang in there. As confusing as things may be right now, it's better to get it completed now.

It's better to have it done and over with, and never use it, than it would be to NEED it later on, and not be able to go. Once you "start" your life, it's tougher to make time for school.

And don't kid yourself...your life started awhile ago. Real life is right now, doing what you have to do to get through. Hang in there.

I am currently in my senior year of undergraduate school in the United States...Go to school, you will get numerous great things out of it...you will be able to enter the career race with much more knowledge and will be able to make more money...on top of that, you will have fun doing it...my college experience could and would not be traded for anything in the world...do yourself the favor and go to school...you won't regret it.

you will have plenty of time to be on your own after school.without a good education you wont be able to enjoy the better things in life.drop out now and not only will you be on your own but,the only thing you'll be able to do is worry about how your going to be able to afford everything you need until your next pay day.take it from me if i had it to do over i would have stayed in school.
