If you have enough big stew pots you can boil/cook them with the kraut on a stove. Other than that I would recommend you buy the biggest pressure cooker that you can find. It will save about 80% of the regular cooking time for that as well as anything else you cook.. Pressure cookers are safe, fast, and you will wonder what you ever did without one.They range from $40. to $200. Get only stainless steel and avoid aluminum.

Enlist a friend and their grill (or yours). Figure 2 kielbasa per person. And I'd say about 1/2 cup of sauerkraut per person. Boil the kielbasa in beer and seasoning (like bay leaf and garlic) first, then have it ready for the friend who's grilling. Make a ton of mashed taters and gravy in advance, and the you get to be the host when your guests arrive!
God knows I too nutty about cooking and always end up in the kitchen during home events. Divvy out the chores for others!

BAKED KIELBASA
1 ring Polish Kielbasa
1 lb. can sauerkraut
Mashed potatoes
Rinse sauerkraut and squeeze dry. Spread sauerkraut in 9 inch round baking dish. Cut Kielbasa in 6 equal pieces, then slit them lengthwise to lay flat. Spread mustard on cut side of Kielbasa and lay flat on top of sauerkraut. Place mashed potatoes on top of Kielbasa and brush with beaten egg. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
Tailor it to 50 people

these will make your 50 people begging for more.
1 lb kielbasa per person
4 heads garlic
2 onions, peeled and sliced
15 lbs sauerkraut
8 apples, cored and diced
2 cups brown sugar
2 quarts beef stock

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Drain sauerkraut. Brown onions in large skillet, add apples, drained sauerkraut, brown sugar. Stir to combine. Add beef broth. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to simmer, and leave for 45 minutes. Stir in caraway seeds. Salt and pepper to taste.
Oil large baking pan(s). Peel & crush garlic, divide evenly in pans.
Brown keilbasas in skillet or under broiler. Place in oiled pan(s) with garlic. Cover with foil. Bake in oven 30 to 35
minutes.

You can bake it all right in the oven... but you need the big pan...
Just bake everything all together for 1-1/2 hours and serve... mmmmmmm smelly good stuff : )
