Maths is actually easy and can become a very absorbing and exciting past time. On the contrary, it could also become a very dreadful and boring thing if the follwing happens during the initial learning process:
1. If you miss any classes. When you go and sit for a class after having missed a class or two, then you dont understand anything and you begin to feel that Maths is something not meant for you. With other subjects this is not the case.
2. If the teacher is a very tough one, always threatening and scolding.
3. If the teacher is not systematic and does not adopt a step-by-step method of imparting the knowledge.

Math is seen as a difficult subject by people who don't work out or people who are not intelligent.

actually maths is not a difficult subjects.it needs good coaching and self confidence.those who feel maths is difficult should work out maths in there daily life,like if you see a tree you have to imagine the hiegth of the tree.maths is a subject which is tough and even easy,it depends on coaching self confidence and interest too

It is just a block in our thinking, maths can seem to be simple with ample practise. The thing about maths is that most of the time a problem can be solved with various methods but the best method always comes with practise.

maths is actually not a difficult subject,only thihg is that students create a hyp of maths due to absence of theory in it,it just needs practise and not mugging up things,then it will become the simplest subject.i myself am a bio student,and always scored well in maths,dueto which now also my calculation is fast,which helps me.

Maths is the only Pure Science. Anything in pure form is always difficult to handle if you are careless.

It is not like that. It depends on the interest.....There are substantial number of people taking maths subject as their major in their degree courses.

I'm not sure, but it is my worst subject ever! I am taking a few class now and it isn't easy for me. I don't know what the purpose is for most of it, especially algebra. Some professions use it daily, but I know I won't, but it's still required for my degree.

Math is very poorly taught. I make a living seeking a better way to teach math. Research suggests that, if you truly desire to learn math, it is best learn through absolute self-study.
