if you are close to your EAOS, look into Blue To Green.
You wouldn't be able to join the Marines until you were let go by the Navy in any event. You may or may not lose a pay grade. You may or may not have to redo Basic training. You may or may not have to choose another speicalty skill.

If you want to transfer to the Marine Corps no matter what enlisted rank you held or MOS/rate you were in, you will start as an E-1. You will also have to go through boot camp all over agian. So Petty Officer First Class or even a MasterChief will be a private in the Corps. There are no exceptions.
CPL. USMC E-4

Actually, you should talk to a recruiter from the Marine Corps. They're the specialists who know all the rules about getting in to the Marines.

not sure paheary is correct.... i am pretty sure you will have to go to boot camp again and might lose rank... my hubby is a marine recruiter and if he was here, i would ask him, but just call your local recruiter! Just curious... why do you want to switch to the Marines.... I know-the uniforms are much sharper! lol :)
