not from your OWN religion, but from someone else's religion?

I have learned a lot from Christians.

Christians have taught me to love everyone, and Buddhism has taught me to put little importance to material things.

That's a great question, I'm glad you asked it. I have learned to be more in harmony with my fellow humans and the world. Since Sept. 11th I have done my best to understand the differences between myself and those of different faiths, creeds and races. I have learned to be more open minded about different cultures, especially those I don't understand. I try much harder now to be tolerant of others.

well that's a difficult question. you see i am Pentecostal by what last church i was a part of for 4 years, but i have studied and been part of different religions over the years. hard to pick.

Mormon=food storage and crafts from the women's group.

baptist= friendship are important, freedom to worship god and live that life in school.

Nazarene's = fellowship outside of church

Catholics= telling god about my sins no matter how silly some people may call what i am asking his forgiveness for.

wiccan=(i wasn't a wiccan but my husband was) that they have compassion and kindness in their hearts and they respect the earth instead of destroying it. (wiccan is not satanist they don't do the animal sacrifice's or human ones either or devil talk, like people think)

these are not in order. my husband is now a follower of Christ and we have chosen to do to a bible study where we discuss the bible more than i did in church.

Tao Te Ching:

That one achieves spiritually not through striving but through acting.

There is a ton of good stuff in the New Testament too. Paul's discussion of love in 1 Cor 13:1-13 is outstanding.

From Islam, I've learned to appreciate the importance, value and perspective that the Christian faith places on family.

I've also learned to be thankful that my faith teaches that God is the Father, and not just the Master.

I have learned that many are deceived. Some believe in the continuous cycle of reincarnation, which isn't true.
