People have short attention spans. Usually things are relevant if they affect the individual personally. So as soon as the generation matures that knows nothing about 9/11 it will fade in importance.

Pearl Harbor incident happens in the course of war. Nowadays the threat to security does not come so immediately/directly from war and people's focus is on terrorism. As such, I feel it will take some time before people stop mentioning it so often.
When will it happen? I think it will happen when there is a critical change in the global village. For example, when something else of greater threat arises, then that will become the new talk of town.

I don't know where you live, but yes we do hear about Pearl Harbor every year on December 7th. It will take more than a life time to forget what happened five years ago. it is human nature. We do not want to forget those that we love and cared about, so I hope that we will remember this day every year for the rest of time.

Yes, you do. Dec 7 is always marked by speeches and ceremonies commemorating Pearl Harbor, even now, 60+ years after the fact.
Your assertion that divine guidance is necessary for people to decide how to think is also a feeble attempt to be condescending. How embarrasing....

We are not still fighting WWII.The Islamic war is only just beginning,it is hard to forget what you are reminded of daily.
I know you are just a kid and life is easy and you are safe.but that is only because others at this moment are fighting and dieing to keep you that way.Their efforts keep the death in a distant land for the time, but it may not forever.

Until the Zionists move on to the next big booga-booga.
Pearl Harbor led to US entry into WW II
9/11 led to US hegemony over the Middle East (gack, cough)
What is next?

I read somewhere that wars don't really end with victory or defeat, they end when all those who fought them are gone. So I guess it will be when all of us who lived through it are no longer here.
