No Not at all. Read about Aum (or OM) is the most sacred syllable in Hinduism, symbolizing the infinite Brahma and the entire Universe. This syllable is sometimes called the "Udgitha" or "pranava mantra" (primordial mantra), because it is considered to be the primal sound, and because most mantras begin with it. It first appeared prominently in the Vedic Tradition. As a seed syllable (bija), it is also considered holy in Esoteric Buddhism.
It is the origin. No body can tell when Hindism was born. It is very old and all other religions came afterwards. Christianity is just 2000 years old and AUM cannot be representative of Christian Trinity.

Not directly, no, but since it represents all things, the creative force, etc., and since Christians believe that the Trinity is in all things and the creative force, yes, in a way it does. The 3 sounds represent Creation, Preservation / Sustenance, and Destruction, as does the Trinity: God the Father = Creator, Holy Spirit = Preserver (Bringing Christ into the Wolrd to Save humanity), and Jesus = Destroyer (For he shall return to judge the quick & the dead, etc.)

The Hindu religion and thus the "Om" chant I suspect, predates Christianity so technically it has nothing to do with the Christian Trinity. But it does have three parts, 'o', 'ah', and 'm' when it's chanted. So if you want to relate it to the Trinity while using it in your own meditations I don't think it would hurt a thing, including any one's feelings.(Except of course those scary extremist popping up in every religion now days!)

No its not because the ' hindu AUM was there thousands and thousands of years before christianity came around. Therefore, if anything is to represent, it would be comming from that which came after hinduism.

Brahma (The Lord when he is creating), Vishnu (The Lord as he is preserving his creation) and Shiva (The Lord when he is ready to reabsorb all of creation back into him; also as evil destroyer) are all referred to as the Hindu Trinity. For Hindus, the most true name for God is Om. The Bible says in the beginning was the word and the word was God. The first sound in creation, as per scientists, was Om.

HINDUISM OR SANATANA DHARMA IS ONE OF THE VERY OLD RELIGIONS. CHRISTIANITY IS JUST 2000 YEARS OLD. THEREFORE, ONLY THE REVERSE COULD BE TRUE.
