well...i'm visiting thailand this weekend and i wanna hear any advice...about weather,people,costs....etc

Weather - Hot and Humid - Wear shorts and Tees most times
People - Friendly and Great but you are gonna have trouble with language so stick to simple english and sign language.
Cost - You gonna love it - Food and shopping is great and really really cheap - Pair of leather shoes would cost about USD5-USD10 and you can get a decent meal at less than a dollar - street side and not resturant
Do take care about water - drink only bottled water.

Thailand is great, it will be hot, humid with maybe rains in the afternoon. The shopping is great and cheap, don't stuff your suitcase cause you will want to take stuff back. Food is cheap and they have just about every restaurant that is found in the USA as well as great Thai food, Prices range from very cheap for street food to moderate. If you like seafood it is fresh and cheap.
People are friendly, traffic is horrible, always allow extra time to get places. You will have a great time.

thailand is great, i was there last year and going back in 3 weeks
people are really friendly and everything is cheap

u will get a bit of rain this time of year but the place is so good ull not notice it
watch out for the taller well dressed girls

Check out the 3 attached websites. Depending on your flavor, you can get directions on what to do. The second is most neutral and has general to the exotic info, links etc.. The first is slanted towards emigrating but, his opinions are fairly neutral. The last is a general info site slanted towards night life of Bangkok. Check out the links in each website. Read the do's and don'ts. They are a friendly people and a proud people. If you have not reserved a room you may be able to get a good deal from www.asiarooms.com, good room rates, takes about 24 hours to confirm a room. Make sure of your plans, I hear refunds are slow. Try to spend few days in Krabi, this is a cool hang out place. It is located on the west coast of Thailand and Phuket.is right across from it.
A lot of activities during the day, and a lot of parites at night.

be careful to the food you eat make sure its clean and drink lots of water Thailand is very hot country and also if you going to get a girl w/ you make sure that she's clean..... have a nice vacation here in Thailand..

I had a friend go there he said prices were reasonable, drink only bottled water and plenty of it, it can get very humid in certain areas. take plenty of condoms if you are going to look for company.

you will love it if you visit there its the only bar who serves guiness and the criac is brilliant give it a try !!
