Stop taking cetirizine and seek emergency medical attention if you experience a rare but serious allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take cetirizine and talk to your doctor if you experience
· drowsiness;
· dizziness;
· headache; or
· dry mouth.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

It doesn't mention depression, but every taker of a product will experience different reactions to this medication...Talk to your doctor, and see what he can do to help...

I've been taking it a couple of weeks now. The only things I have noticed is being really tired if I take it in the morning (now I take it at night) and periods of dry mouth. So far no depression. Good luck.

From what my doctor told me even benadryl can make you depressed especially if you are already on an antidepressant.
