Dogs eat grass if they have an upset tummy to stop them from being sick so thats why he is never sick.

The grass acts as a sort of 'indigestion' medicine. My Jack Russell does exactly the same but the vet says it is not good for her as it only make her digestive problems worse.

Dogs are like humans we eat certain things to say health. Dogs eat certain grasses to stay healthy. Its like a vitamin or medicine to them. That's why inside dogs are more prone to get sick and be unhealthy, they can't go out side and get the nutrition they need.

all dogs will eat grass and so will cats. It kinda keeps them regular. if the dog gets sick and vomits after wards it just means they ate to much. but most of the time they do not get sick at all

He doesn't get sick afterwards because he was sick before hand. Eating grass makes them feel better, therefore, that is why they eat grass.

it is common for dogs to eat grass and generally they do eat it to make themselves sick but other times they can do it to help with the digestion process - much like if we were to east lettuce after a meal, it helps us to digest our food a little quicker.
If it worries you though, take him to the vet, he will be able to put your mind at ease a lot better than any of us lol

My Chihuahua, appears to eat grass also and never gets sick - HOWEVER.... I truly have no idea if she actually eats it.. or just chews it and spits it out...
Most people say dogs eat grass to make themselves sick... however... i think a lot of them chew on it and might not actually swallow it....

my 3 eat grass my cavalier king chalres will eat the grass to make himself sick.
my labs just seem to eat teh grass cause they like it.lol. especially after i have mown the lawn they eat the cuttings left behind.
but yes they do eat grass to aid digestion or stop from being sick or make them sick perfectly natrual
