Wow Gary!

Such a nice thing to say on a monday morning. Is it something I said?

Why don't you welcome a rational dialogue with non-Christians?

A lot of things. I think of a Simpson's episode where Homer has a near death experience and comes back delighted that he was in this great place where there was fire and brimstone and some red guy poking him with a pitch fork lol!!!

Then i think of Hades in Greek philosophy and how that word somehow ended up in the bible.

Mostly i just think whoever tells me I'm going to "hell" is completely full of themselves, arrogant and ignorant. So, I accept that they have not yet discovered what true spiritual fulfillment is about.

I feel sorry for them and wonder what it feels like to have so much hatred within them. i believe in God and my religion does not say that they are going to Hell just because they are Christian, so i wonder why they hate other people so much and truly believe that no matter how good and caring a person you are if you don't conform to their beliefs you are burning in Hell. And the i wonder why someone would want to believe in such a doctrine of hatred and intolerance. But really, no water off my back, if they want to be bound by such ways, that's their choice.

I am sure I would imagine chains around their brains. And I honestly would feel sorry for them, for thinking "God" would be such a psycho b*stard as they've been brainwashed to believe.

A Christian can't pass judgement on someone else.

THEY are going to be judged, TOO!

If they DO pass that judgement, they are in danger of being sent where it doesn't snow.

That is God's job, at the end of the world.

I guess if a mind could sigh, mine does. Also it lets go with a metaphorical "Oy!" But...

It does depend on how the "You're going to hell," is stated. Sometimes it can be funny; not often, but sometimes.

I usually wonder for a moment or two if there's a chance of saving this person from their own delusions, and then the feeling usually passes.

Never had anyone tell me that to my face. i guess if they did I may be a little upset, but they live in their own paradigm and I live in mine, so it doesn't affect me.
