Since you had your hair done at the salon, go back and ask them how they can help. It sounds like it was overprocessed and if so, it is their job to fix any damages. They will be able to give you suggestions on how to chemically relax it to get the curl to the level you want. They should also give you suggestions on what products will work best in the hair. If you didn't go to a good salon, try some smoothing products along with the leave in to get the curl to relax without straightening it. If you blowdry and straighten with an iron, it will damage your hair even more. If your ends are fuzzy, over heating will just make it worse. The less you do to your hair the better. You don't want to make anything worse than it already is. Try Silky Hair Remedy and/or Frizz Eliminator From Sexy Hair Concepts or Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. If you add the shampoo & conditioner from these lines it will help greatly! These will reduce frizz, calm hair & produce a glossy shine.

If you just got the perm and think it is too tight try shampooing it. Usually it takes a perm about a week to relax. If it is still too curly go back to your stylist and ask her to straigten it a bit w/ a perm kit.
Next time make sure the rods are bigger, the small the rod the tighter the curl and the more frizz you get.
Last, if it is frizzy that means you need to get more trimmed off because the perm damaged your ends.

In the future, you need to have them perm your hair FIRST! Then cut it. The curl changes the length of your hair, changing the cut. Your stylist should cut your hair in the state it will be in afterwards. When cutting curly hair it should be done in its dry curly state so you know what your hair will look like after. It doesn't matter with straight hair cause it will always be straight.

The 1st two weeks after a perm no one likes their hair. Keep it conditioned so it won't dry out and straighten your hair with a curling iron, a large barrel one. That will help relax the curls a bit.

Gotta get a fresh cut. Perhaps a texturizer may help. There is also product made by Lottabody that is a conditioner and temporary straightner. It may work w/o a texurizer. B careful of 2 much of the chems.

Give it some time. Blow the curl out, by styling it with your brush and dryer. Then use your curling iron. If you still dont like it after a couple weeks, ask a salon how long you should wait to go get it straightened.

sounds like the stylist overprocessed your hair, I would talk to her about it and ask her if ther is anything that can be done. If the leave in conditioner works keep using it but I bet she used too small a perm rod on your hair. Just talk to them she or he did it you payed good money I'd ask them to help fix it!!

Use the heaviest conditioner you can find in your area. It will soften the curls until the perm grows out. Good Luck! Happy Monday!

use a shampoo/condition for chemical typr hair that will help for the hair texture,
you can try this, when the hair is damp, comb out the hair, spary a smoothing spary, section the hair in parts and use a flat iron to straight it out,
Wait a 3 week or so to day any thing chemical to the hair..
