this is called balacoftee and is romanian in origin and is traditionally served with sorbet or a romanian style ice cream.
I had it their on holiday about fifteen years ago and is delicious. i am afraid i do not have a recipe or indeed the right spelling.

Sorry but i've asked everyone in my office (20) and none have herd of a sweet with toffee on the outside and blackcurrant on the inside!! However many have had with blackcurrant and liquorice!! sorry again!

I think it might be a blackcurrant Toffo, you got them in different flavours, but I also remember a liquorice sweet (like a humbug) but with blackcurrant filling, the only thing is I cant remember their name! Sorry! x
