well biologically u are menat to drink 2 liters a day. am from Nigeria and its hotter than turkey. i drink more than 2liters.. i would estimate to about 2.5 liters.

the more u dehyadrate,the more u want to rehydrate.

Your body should have 2 litres of fluid a day (Can be water, soup, drinks etc)
In the heat you loose water more quickly so you should try regular small amounts of water rather than glass fulls

The UK recommended daily intake is 5 litres ... Anywhere hotter and you should perhaps increase that amount by 1 litre for every 10 degrees heat

I was sailing in the seychelles last year, it was extremely hot and very humid, I was told to drink a minimum of 8 ltrs a day! tooprevent dehydration. Some days I was drinking a ltr an hour!!
