I had that problem, fortunately my boss was never in.

I suggest regualarly popping outside for fresh air, not too much coffee, and try and keep a fresh flow of air in the office.

I also have a USB pen drive with some video's on it to watch not sure how your work would feel about it though

When you are all the time in front of your computer your eyes get very tired and you lose energy! In this way, you start falling asleep! You should rest the appropriate hours and you have to take some breaks when you are working on your computer!

Oh my days....i have this exact problem except mine is a Mac lol. Well i asked a nurse if vitamins or something would help. Her response was.....nothing can remedy boredom except a change of scenery ie. A NEW JOB. Something to stimulate the brain you know. But in the meantime, go for short breaks, take a walk. Keep fresh air circulating in your office where possible. Don't drink fluids that dehydrate you ...like tea, coffee, caffiene etc. lots of water...eat nuts they give you loads of energy... when all else fails QUIT!! lol....sorry man i really feel your pain

Man, you must be very bad if you've got a Police Constable watching over you at work! However, falling asleep infront of him is just plain rude dude.

Open the windows and get some fresh air ... take a break every hour - even the PC manufacturers recommend that one! ... make stronger coffee ... go chat the secretary up then take yourself off to the gents to unwind ... find something more stimulating to do!

I was to going to add more suggestions butz zzzzzzzzzzzzz

not sure how to prevent you falling asleep other than drinking loads of coffee, but try velcroing yourself to your chair back-rest and painting face eyes on your eye-lids, then no one will notice if you're asleep or not! ;)

Just keep thinking that a polish man stood at the back of you to steal your job for less than you are paid.
