I don't know much about Islam but I do know some things, and this I can share. I was working in Los Angeles and Living in Anaheim when a co-worked told me that I lived near a Kosher Butcher and Market.

Kosher is the term to describe Foods prepared and kept in accordance with Jewish Laws, in fact there are well over 600 Jewish laws that are collectively called "Kosher".

I went to find this market, and I found an ethnic market, but not a Kosher Butcher. I found a Halal Butcher. I tried to ask what halal meant. The butchers didn't have the language skills to converse with me. Fortunately the cashiers did.

The ritual requires that the slaughter be done individually, one animal at a time with no other animal present to witness it.

One clean stroke, with a knife so sharp there can be no tearing, and there may be no nicks in the blade, so as to not deliver pain to the animal. The animal may not lay in a pool of blood, and must be drained of blood.

A prayer is said before the slaughter, and another is said afterwards. The slaughterer is not allowed to kill, kill, kill, to mechanize or automate in any way.

An internal inspection is done, and if the insides don't look right then the meat is declared unworthy and not sold under the ritual (it can be sold as meat but not in any way as Kosher or Halal Meat)

For Halal the blade is curved, for Kosher the blade is straight. It's eerie to me how the two rituals are nearly identical. Except for differences in the blade shape, the name given to the slaughterer and the prayers said, the rituals are the same.

I would imagine that Muslims (people of Islamic faith) have some laws similar to the 10 commandments, although I simply have faith that they do, because the muslims I have known have been honest ethical people, and in my book, that counts for a lot.

They have the 10 commandments. Islam accepts the Old Testament writings as scriptural, so they also have the 10 commandments. They just put more emphasis on the Koran than on the OT.

Many similatities with the aid of fact Islam is the melding of Judaism, Christianity and 6th century Arab lifestyle. God Of Abraham, nutritional regulations, ritual fasting, stable ethical code, modesty in womens outfits, Holy days,Imams and rabbis carry out an identical obligations.Muslims say that they are sons of Abraham via Ishmael, this is amazingly a stretch tho, with the aid of fact the muslim faith got here approximately countless thousand years later. Same 10 commandments as Christians. Both groups took them from the Jews.

The religion of Islam does agree with all the points made within the ten commandments but doesn't present them in list format.

No, Islam rejects the 10 commandments of God. They reject Jesus Christ as God. Mohammed did not keep the 10 commandments of God. He rejected the 4th commandment as all muslims today do. Islam is a false religion.

All religions that reject Jesus Christ lead to eternal death. Jesus Christ is God. PERIOD! Religions that reject Jesus Christ as God are false religions in doctrine and practice. The honest at heart in false religions must be warned of their danger.

"Babylon is fallen, is fallen, come out of her my people".

Squirm, godless liberals squirm.

Give me a thumbs down, I eat them for breakfast.

Better to die for Christ than convert to Islam at gunpoint!
