Depending on which books you read and whose version you believe, this information is still being uncovered and archived and in fact, much is still missing since the CIA reopened these archived files in 1988 and further sorted them.

The Psychological Strategy Board (PSB) was formed by President Truman in 1951 and most of the information currently archived and or missing was created by this Board. It was terminated in 1953 under President Eisenhower.

If you are referring to the book: The United States and Biological Warfare: secrets of the Early Cold War and Korea, the authors, Professors Endicott and Hagerman make a convincing argument that it indeed happened.

At a minimum their research and revelations raise questions about the possible use of biological warfare by the United States in the Korean War that must be answered before we indulge in further moral condemnation of Iraq's research and development of a germ warfare capability.
