The Bible prophesized the sun would come up this morning in the East. It did.
Does this mean we should worry cause the Bible is the word of God?
Apparently the newspaper did also make this prophesy, so Chicago Tribune IS ALSO the word of God.

The prophecy of God is the creative word of the One True God that no other words can be compared. The word of God is the lord of all words. You could never enjoy the great wisdom of the Bible if you thought about it as a normal book of men.
The paragraph in the Bible:
"the sun would come up this morning in the East"
is far more truthful and powerful than that same
paragraph on the Chicago Tribune.
Please think more deeply about these words in the mouth of your daughter:
"the sun would come up this morning in the East".
All the words of the Bible have been used in other books of the world; but none of those books have got the influence among mankind as the Bible.

Exactly. The bible said the sun would "come up" around the Earth. Not that the Earth is always rotating and the sun will always be visible from exactly half of the planet. Therefore the bible is wrong. Therefore it nothing in it can be trusted.
The Tribune got it right and therefore should be trusted.

As far as I know, there is NO reference to the Flying Spaghetti Monster n the Bible, yet I'm relatively certain it has been mentioned in the Tribune. Obviously, the Tribune is teh TRUE word of God.

All words are the words of God babe... He did, after all, SPEAK life into existence.
Thought precedes action. We as humans have that same ability to create by thought first, and then speaking things into happening.
It takes us just a little longer (because we are physical minded and latent spiritually, where these things actually happen.) but we do it, every day, just like God being made in His image and all... (you know the spheel.)
It is why we are the only of all of the animals in the world that posses the ability for intelligent speech (yeah I know birds can talk, but they just repeat, they don't speak from thought.)
That doesn't happen to just us as a species, by a random process of accidents and happenstance and elements being in the right place at the right time. It is just a bit more complex than that...
ALL words belong to God.

No don't be worried.. it can be explained scientifically with the rotation of the nature of the universe. Almost everything in the sky including the moon, planets and most stars rise in the east also... so you're good.

I too have experienced such an occurrence. A miracle is upon us, "thus as the sun rose in the East it set in the West sending us into darkness".
