Those who died on 9/11 should be remembered, and not used for political gains. The people who were just going to work, and lost their lives where victims ,the ones who tried to save the lives of others as hero's. I support the idea of making the date a memorial day dedicated to the memory of all firefighters and paramedics, just as me moral day started as a remembrance of the men who died in the civil war.

This is a moot point, because there are only certain groups attacking the other side claiming that they aren't supportive. Being on "that other side" I can tell you there is plenty of mourning and a hell of a lot of respect for the dead. We all feel regretable about what happened on that day. The petty finger pointing is our own fault for not being understanding and accepting of one another's views.

Of course we can and should honor all of the INNOCENT who have fallen on 9-11-01. We should also honor the poor brainwashed soldiers who are manipulated by their superiors into thinking that what they are doing in Iraq is for the sake of vengance for the attacks. Who we should NOT honor -and should be revolting against- are the people who are so crass, callous and insensitive that they lead these people (my baby brother PFC Drew ******* included) to the slaughter for personal gain. "Democrat", GOP, black, white, purple or pink, we need to educate ourselves about this government and realize the extent of the current administrations incompetence. Impeach? How about brought up on charges too numerous to list?!?!

The greatest way to honor them is to STOP all this petty bickering and learn to get along. That is just the exact opposite of what the terrorists who did that dastardly deed want.
