The new guy i am seeing, has a picture of him and his ex having s.e.x on his phone. He gave the phone to me because my old one broke, he never erased the pictures out of it and my mate went looking through his phone the other night and found this picture.
I didn't say anything to my new bf, but last night his cousin went through my new guys phone to see what pictures he still had in the phone, he obviously came across this picture and said to my new guy eh, mark come here for a minute will you...
Mark (my new bf) got up looked at this picture and said i knew it was there... his friend said will i erase it and he shouted "no way" sort of laughed and sat down beside me !!!
should i be worried or am i over reacting????

I would be wondering why he doesn't want to erase that picture. Also, I would be worried about him taking pictures of me and showing them to god knows who later on...

Tell him you are going to erase it, If he makes big a deal out of it, tell him that he shouldn't have given you the phone and give it back, and maybe start looking for a new b/f... if he doesnt, then erase it and no (well not many) worries mate...In any case it really showed bad taste on his part to knowingly leave it in there, when he gave it to you in the first place. And you got to kind of wonder what his motives were at the very least...

You are not overreacting. This is unacceptable in a new relationship - I wouldn't even let my bf keep his ex's numbers nevermind pictures. Tell him it's you or the picture and if he deletes the pic make sure he doesn't send it a friend to get back later. If tells you you're overreacting - quietly collect all your belongings and delete your number from his phone and go. As hard as it is - you have to do it because you cannot start a relationship without respect.

I would be more than worried, I would be infuriated. He either still has feelings for this girl, or you mean nothing to him but a joke and I'm more apt to believe the later. If he truly gave you the phone, delete it. YOU don't need it on there.

The picture of himself and his ex is kind of a trophy. All guys wish they had something like that to look at. Dont' be too quick to judge.

he's just showen off. I wouled be worried if he didnt want to do any thing with me but if he does things with you then you shouldn't worry
