I think that sounds nice. But I hope the really nasty people like child molesters and serial killers have somewhere else to go.

I pity the fools who think heaven is their exclusive country club.

Actually there are different levels in the heavenly regions and we ALL go to the level of our deserved rewards, whereby we stay for awhile until we are recalled to earth to continue working out out 'karmas' and will go to higher regions of that same heavenly place until we merge into oneness with the Supreme.

Ignorance does not upset Christians. Sin does.....Jesus is the only way to heaven, as He said in the Bible...)(

If I thought you were the ultimate authority, Id be a happy man. But you're not, and nobody is. So I will continue my belief that "heaven" is merely the best you can make of your time here on earth, and nothing after.

What if I told you there is no heaven or hell? There is no way of 'proving' it one way or the other. And it is not 'proof' using a book that can not be authenticated (this includes all religous text, not just the bible).

Heaven is a gift from God. That means you have to believe in Him in order to receive it.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

Epehsians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

I agree with Steve. We have evidence to support what we believe. Where's yours?

Your concept is correct, but your wording needs a little change.
"Goes to" should be changed as "reaches"; because heaven is not a place to arrive, but it is a spiritual state to attain.

I'd like to paraphrase Mark Haddon by asking how we get to this "place out of this universe" once we die. Do they strap us to rockets and launch them into black holes?
