check local campus dumpsters, as people finally get away from public school forced curriculum and go to college and actually get to study uncensored material, amplified and many other bibles find themselves on freecycle or in the trash
or, go to your local church and say you are curious about god and watch the material dumped on you, the short attention and embrace until the next person joins the church then you focus on them to join for no other reason but the acceptance based on your statement of faith and loyalty to no asking questions, just going with other people's answers
if you use the amplified bible correctly, maybe it will expound or speak louder and you get a over defined attempt to justify the righteousness of god that condones felony acts and harm to your fellow neighbor, save some of the actual teaching of Jesus that is beneficial to humanity if we only read it and not what others tell you was said
