maybe you should instead ask why he is pushing to make what has been illegal and criminal, unaccepted by religion and world law, legal by asking Congress this time for permission rather than issuing noble proclamations, edicts or as GW calls them, Executive Orders to make it so in the face of the law and the citizens that are supposed to keep him and Congress in line with Constitution. There is no anti-Christ --- that was "Neron Caesar", and he died about 2,000 years ago. I'm a moderate, and feel that I need to say that to preface what I am about to state: President Bush believes that by establishing freedom from a tyrant, murderous dictator like Saddam Hussein that it will spread in the Middle East and in the long run eliminate the threat from Islamist extremists by making freedom of thought the rule, and not the exception. I do not approve of the way we were deceived to get us into the war, but we are there now, and as we started this mess we need to do everything we can to finish it. The command of the Iraqi military has just been taken over by the Iraqi government. It takes time to establish a country from scratch, and that is what is going on in Iraq. I do not believe that President Bush actually believes that the war that will end the world will actually start at all, because if you study history you will learn that "Armageddon" was the battle for the city of "Meggido", which has occurred THREE times, so the "end of the world" has already happened - thrice! We WILL win this because we do not give up. Ask the Japanese and the Germans about declaring war on the USA - it didn't work out so well for them, did it?
