She shouldn't worry about what "case to file". The police will handle that. Here is what she needs (needed) to do:

- don't take a shower
- call the police
- don't let anyone in or out of the room (area) where she was raped
- immediately tell the police/friends as many details of the rape as she can remember
- proceed to the emergency room
- collect all of her clothing in a new trash bag
- give this evidence to the hospital/investgators

The bottom line is the rapist will be charged with one of a variety of crimes ranging from assault to rape and by following these simple suggestions she will likely help them convict her attacker.

Sexual assault. But first she should go to the local hospital and have them administer a rape kit to prove it happened.

they will do all the charging plus you get all the help you need from the services

go to the ER and get checked out...file a report and hopefully the police or hospital will be able to assit you from there.
