All shops everywhere. No wonder people buy online, cos shops are staffed by miserable no hopers who know nothing. Bunch of losers.
Although, saying that, you then have to complain to online retailers, coz they're crap too.
Miserable people!
TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!!!

I agree about Mama's & Papa's. They're a bunch of tw@ts. We went into there when my wife was pregnant with a view to furnishing the nursery and getting a pram etc. We had a catalogue in hand waiting for some assistance, got totally ignored apart from the "shop assistant" who virtually pushed my wife out of the way to get to a lady looking at a £10 toy. My wife hustled me out of the shop pretty sharpish because I was shouting and swearing about customer services. I reckon we didn't look well off even though we are.

Have my car insured with Tesco car insurance.

Have been with them for 10 years without having made 1 claim.

Parked my car in a car park in May this year and on my return found the car had been struck by another vehicle causing damage to front bumper and also back bumper due the car having been pushed backwards into a wall.

Put in a claim for the repairs, and Tesco sent some engineer or other to assess the damage and reported back that in his opinion the car could not have sustained this damage in the one incident.

I was advised by Tesco to submit two claims to cover the damage, which would have meant me paying £300 for two claims instead of the £150 excess I have.

Having contacted them on numerous occassions , my car is still not repaired.

During one of the many telephone calls I was informed that they had misplaced my initial claim and could I submit another, which I did. I had a call from them confirming they had received the information they requested.

After more phone calls they have advised me again that the second claim I had submitted has also been "lost".

I have recently sent the details again, by fax, without any reply from Tesco, so I still have a damaged car today sitting on my drive.

I would also point out that my premiums are paid monthly, and since I first submitted my claim, Tesco have continued to with-draw the payments from my bank.

My policy is due for renewal in November and doubt very much if it will be renewed with Tesco. The problem with not renewing with them and this matter not being settled, I wonder if they will simply cancel my claim as I would then not be a Tesco customer.

SO MUCH FOR " EVERY LITTLE HELPS "

Mama's and Papa's baby shop.
DON'T BE FOOLED.
This is one of the biggest 'brand or 'designer' names for baby / nursery equipment in the UK today.
My wife insisted we buy almost everything in one of their 'themes'.
The furniture is just cheap flat-pack stuff no better than Ikea, their customer service and delivery was terrible.
If you need to get a cot from them - fair do's, but don't get the wardrobes or changing stations etc. You could get much better stuff elsewhere for the price.
The suff isn't really too bad, it's just extortionately priced. You're only paying for their marketing.

Oh what the hell...let's go...
the biggest gripe at the moment Tiscali - worst ever service in the world...there web site and promises mean jack s- they never respond to mail or emails and have failed to provide a service, the staff haven't got a clue - tyruly one of the worst organisations in the whole of Europe...
Saturday kids at Tesco's one couldn't even manage to articulate please or thank you even when prompted by me - come to that pretty much most staff in every shop
B& Q who don't even have their own baskets as they are too mean! or plastic bags leaving you with a bin bag or struggling to hold your purchases while the staff go "dunno" and "innit" (perhaps the most irritating expression in the world) and carry on conversations oblivious to customers waiting
ADT - worst security firm in the world - ask them what they understand by Customer Service and it leaves them stumped and that is from their customer service manager!
Pretend customer services based on American principles when really the people mouthing the words would prefer you dead...oh Britain how we love you!
