I am a retired teacher. I truly believe that the probelm lies in the way the educational systems are set up. How opinionated and negative teachers can be due to the huge thretats of danger in inner city schools, the often non-support of parents, supervisors, and administration, too often mediocre pay, and curriculum limitations and little time to help kids explore the world.

Students do better exploring their own possibilities on their own.

With literally thousands upon thousands of jobs descriptions, most students never think of what they'd like to be, never mind what turns them on.

Some know they want to become doctors and lawyers just for the money. Some want to go into law enforcement or the military because they think they can save the world. Ha!

I believe the best way someone can determine what their truest paths are is to do something like what is offered by The Landmark Education. Anyone can web search this corporation. They have an initial three day and one evening seminar called The Forum. It's offered in many big cities in the USA and overseas. In it, we tell ourselves the real truth about ourselves and out lves. We also get in touch with the deepest part of ourselves where passion lives.
